Jieyang Chaoshan Airport use RFID technology to launch a carousel baggage sorting system at a domestic airport.The system has functions such as automatic baggage binding, baggage information real-time display, baggage quick search and baggage data statistical analysis. Handheld-Wireless H947 PDA providing more convenience and higher efficiency of airport sorting work.
1.Automatic Baggage Binding
The workers use RFID baggage tags when baggage is checked,. The machine vision barcode scanner or RFID antenna on the turntable reads the information of the RFID baggage tags to realize the binding of the baggage pictures.
2. Baggage Information Real-time Display
The baggages are automatically identified by the RFID antenna when they arrives, its picture is displayed on the large screen with issued sound to help the sorting staff quickly pick up the baggage. The large screen of the workstation can also display the total number of baggages to be secured and have loaded in real time, so as to get ready in advance.
3. Baggage Quick Search
Input the baggage number on the H947 handheld PDA, identify the matching baggage number in each baggage tag through the built-in RFID chip, and set the sound to prompt the sorter to quickly find specific baggage.
4. Data Statistical Analysis
The system management terminal monitors the baggage sorting situation in real time by counting the amount of baggage guaranteed for flights which is convenient for predicting and analysing the future sorting situation and rationally allocate resources. Besides,it possess functions such as special baggage handling, flight message early warning, and automatic flight-station assignment.
